Caring for your cakes
It’s not necessary to store your cake in the fridge, unless its really hot! They should be stored in a cool, dry place and any leftovers should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for best condition. The only exception to the ‘no fridge’ rule, is if the cake contains fresh cream, ganache, or if it’s a really hot day. If you need to store your cake in the fridge, please store in airtight container. Make sure you take it out of the fridge for at least an hour before serving to ensure it comes back to room temperature. This is when cakes are at their tastiest.
All cake should be consumed a maximum of 3 days after collection/delivery.
If you are collecting your cakes, please ensure you put them in the footwell or boot of the car. Cakes prefer flat surfaces to ensure they stay looking great, and car seats are not as flat and secure as they look!
Hold the cake box from the bottom, not the sides.
There maybe non edible items in your cake, such as structural dowels or fresh flowers so watch out for them when you’re tucking in.
